Blood transfusion nursing for patients with hemorrhoidectomy
Lee Hyun-Jung

Abstract
This scenario implemented a nursing situation that required blood transfusion nursing due to the occurrence of hemoglobin reduction after hemorrhoidectomy. Hemorrhoids are one of the most common diseases in humans, and so far, although there is a difference according to the reporter, a high prevalence rate of 4.4% to 30% or more has been reported. Hemorrhoid is a benign disease, but it is a disease that greatly interferes with life due to bleeding, pain, and repeated prolapse to the outside of the anus. Hemorrhoidectomy has been mainly applied to patients with obvious symptoms among patients who do not respond well to conservative treatment. Hemorrhoidectomy is a relatively simple operation and has excellent long-term results, but there may be complications such as bleeding after surgery. Through this scenario, the nursing students could be trained and educated in order to improve and advance their nursing competences.
